Funding for Learning and Development in the Social Care workforce.
Increasingly employers or learners will be expected to contribute to the cost of training for their staff particularly at level 3 and above. However, a number of sources do exist to support employers in social care and Care Partnerships are able to signpost employers through the funding maze. Funding Stream How to Access What It Can Fund
All Sectors Skills for Life Through local skills for life provider Entitlement to all for skills for life to level 2 at no cost for literacy and numeracy. An employer contribution of £173 is required for ESOL Train to Gain Gateway tel 08000 754557 (08000 SKILLS) Skills for life, First full level 2, Level 3*, level 4 for those without a level 3*, Leadership and management.
